How Does Invisalign
Straighten Teeth, and
Will Anyone Notice?
Invisalign uses a series of custom-made clear plastic aligners to gradually move your teeth into their ideal positions. Unlike traditional braces, the aligners are virtually invisible, removable for eating and cleaning, and changed at home every 1 to 2 weeks. Most patients complete treatment in 12 to 18 months, with fewer office visits and far greater day-to-day comfort than conventional braces.
Step by Step
What Are the Steps of
Invisalign Treatment
in Calgary?
Digital Smile Scan
A precise 3D scan of your teeth creates the digital model used to map every movement of every tooth throughout your entire treatment.
Custom Aligner Fabrication
Your full series of custom aligners is manufactured and delivered to our clinic — each set designed to make incremental tooth movements.
Wearing Your Aligners
Aligners are worn 20 to 22 hours per day, changed every 1 to 2 weeks. You visit us every 6 to 8 weeks to monitor progress and collect new trays.
Retention Phase
After your final aligner, custom retainers maintain your new smile. Most patients transition to night-only wear within a few months.
